Sukkot 2025/5786

Sukkot is a highlight of the Shtiebel year - join us in our Sukkah and our space for spirited prayer, connective gatherings, nourishing meals, and vibrant Torah learning throughout the holiday!

About Sukkot in South Philadelphia

Join the South Philadelphia Shtiebel for meaningful Sukkot celebrations and events throughout the holiday! Events include davening, communal meals, Torah learning, and special activities like a Sukkah hop with Mekor Habracha.  We'll host full Kiddush lunches on the first days of Chag, and this year, we'll have a community potluck (based on the Shtiebel's Kashrut Guidelines) for dinner on the first night of sukkot.

Sukkot begins on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 6:16 PM in Philadelphia. The holiday continues through October 15th with Shmini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, with many opportunities to connect and celebrate with our Jewish community in South Philly.
